Church Lunch is run by CCD to match students with local hosts for Sunday-style lunches and dinners during term. This is a beta.

What we collect: your name, university email, phone number and password (stored hashed). Guests also give their availability, dietary requirements and whether they can bring something. Hosts also give their home address, the most guests they can host, and their availability.

Why: to match guests with hosts and to tell each person at a confirmed meal how to reach the others. The lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who sees it: when a meal is confirmed, the host receives each guest's name, phone number, dietary requirements and whether they can bring something. Each guest receives the host's name, address, phone number and email. Nobody else sees your details apart from the organisers running the scheme.

Dietary requirements can include health information, such as allergies. We only collect them if you choose to give them, and only share them with your host.

How long: we keep your details until the end of the current term, then delete them unless you sign up again.

Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by contacting the Church Lunch organisers at CCD Durham (henryrugg06@gmail.com). You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
